Date: Week Ending 30 August 2024
The Claremont Hotel has now been temporarily reconnected via an existing manhole in the rear yard-two weeks ahead of schedule. This early reconnection will allow the internal plant room floor to dry ahead of stabilisation works.
The expedited schedule was made possible due to the delay in the Villiers Lane road closure. During this pause, the site will remain locked and protected, with fall protection in place. All new drainage components, including a temporary 6″ pipe and chamber base, are in position and functioning correctly. The team will return to site once the floor has dried and the road closure licence is active.
